Food is always good, for any special occasion, whether it be Christmas or just a hot sunny summer day sitting on the veranda. Food makes us southerners happy. We need to be aware of what we take into our bodies. Somethings that we do take, can be harmful to us and to the land our daddies have plowed day after day, and might cause our southern soldiers to not be able to fight for the south. We need to tell our children about the difference between inorganic and organic food. My grandma always said, "honey, eat your fruits and vegetables." But did she know what those farmers grow them in and on? They use manure and other waste. That could make us ladies sick and have to use our smelling salts. We need to eat that organic food. It is pure, and good for the soul and the land. We need to eat because it is grown naturally with out the use of sprays and other chemical things!
I imitated the voice of my author by using lots of imagery and adjectives. This gives us a real picture of what I am talking about. Margaret Mitchell, in Gone with the Wind, never left out a single detail. We never had to figure something out for ourselves. She gave it to us. We knew everything. This is important to do in this paper so it does not leave the reader hanging and wondering about certain words, phrases, and terms. I also used some references to it being in a southern atmosphere. It is always good to let the reader know background information.
